Breathable Premium Fabric Pot for an Active Root Zone

The Gronest fabric pot combines light weight with a particularly air-permeable pot wall. This allows more oxygen to reach the roots, excess water can drain quickly, and the risk of waterlogging is reduced.

As roots grow towards the air-permeable outer wall, their tips are naturally pruned. This supports a finer, more branched root structure and makes the fabric pot ideal for houseplants, aroids, herbs, vegetables, and grow projects.

Advantages

  • Breathable textile fabric for better root aeration
  • Promotes finely branched root growth
  • Very good water drainage
  • Lightweight, flexible, and space-saving storage
  • Suitable for soil, coco coir, and structurally stable substrates
  • For indoor, balcony, greenhouse, and garden use
  • Many sizes from cuttings to large container plants

Size Recommendation

1–4 L: Cuttings, young plants, and small herbs 8–19 L: Aroids, chili, bell peppers, and medium-sized houseplants 25–39 L: Large Monstera, palms, vegetables, and robust container plants 55–95 L: XXL plants, large grow projects, and extensive root balls

Application Note

Fabric pots are permeable to water. Please use them on a suitable base, in a drip tray, or in a sufficiently large cachepot. After watering, allow excess water to drain completely.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Gronest Fabric Pot

Which size is suitable for my plant?

For cuttings and young plants, 1–4 liters are suitable. Medium-sized houseplants and herbs usually fit well in 8–19 liters. For large aroids, vegetables, or container plants, 25 liters and more are recommended. The size of the existing root ball is decisive.

Do I need a saucer?

Yes. The textile fabric is water-permeable. For indoor use, the fabric pot should always be placed on a suitable saucer, in a drip tray, or in a waterproof cachepot.

Which substrate can I use?

Suitable substrates include soil, coco coir, and airy, structurally stable substrate mixes. For many tropical houseplants, a well-draining mix is particularly suitable.

Can I reuse the fabric pot?

Yes. After use, the pot should be completely emptied, brushed dry, and carefully cleaned depending on the degree of soiling. Allow it to dry completely before replanting.

Is the fabric pot suitable for indoors and outdoors?

It can be used indoors, on the balcony, in the greenhouse, and in the garden. Outdoors, it should be placed stably; indoors, a waterproof saucer is required.

Do I need to water more frequently in a fabric pot?

The substrate can dry out more quickly through the air-permeable pot walls than in a closed plastic pot. Therefore, check the moisture regularly and only water when appropriate for the specific plant and substrate used.
